I have never owned an elliptical before, but I have to say I believe this is a great deal and very good machine.

I am 6 feet 2 inch and the stride length is more than adequate. I was concerned about that and is the reason I chose this machine because other machines I was looking at had a slightly shorter length. I have really pushed it too, setting the resistance high and digging in, and the machine is more than able to take it. I have had it for 2 weeks and no problems at all.

I built this myself, having two people would be helpful, but not necessary. If I would give 1 bit of advice on building, do not cut the plastic tie you see hanging from the handle bar, I almost did, but it turns out it is a key part necessary to tie onto the cord that will be pulled up through the main handle bar frame that connects to the electronic part of the machine. You will see, just don’t cut that off.

As for shipping it came in like one week, it was delivered at 7:20am which was convenient and the box was not damaged at all. Perfect shape!

Other than that, I connect my phone to the aux jack provided and listen to my NPR, it is loud and clear, and the heart rate monitor actually works great, it appears to give an accurate reading within 20-30 seconds.
